About Us
Tomorrow leaders are already in our classrooms.
The Green Heroes Schools Programme is an environmental education initiative developed by DZI 0% Waste Recycling in partnership with the Nomfundo Dzingwa Foundation. Through practical, action-based learning, learners grow into responsible environmental stewards at school, at home and in their communities.
Our Story
Founded in February 2025, DZI 0% Waste Recycling began as a community Buy‑Back Centre with a simple vision: reduce waste sent to landfill, create cleaner communities, and inspire environmental responsibility. Today, we’ve grown into a dynamic environmental organisation focused on education, community partnerships, and sustainable programmes.
We believe that “Small Hands. Big Change.” — empowering young learners and communities to take practical action for a greener future.
